Laptop repair in Winchester
A laptop is harder to work on than a desktop and a lot of shops won't go past a software reinstall. We do component-level work — screens, hinges, charge ports, keyboards and liquid damage — on most makes, including models the manufacturer would rather replace than repair.

Charge ports and power faults
A loose DC jack is usually a solder or connector job rather than a new motherboard. We test the charger, the port and the board's power rails before quoting anything expensive.
Liquid damage
Speed matters more than anything here. Stop using it, don't try to dry it out with heat, and get it to us. We strip, clean and treat the board — recovery isn't guaranteed but it's a lot more likely in the first 48 hours.
Overheating and fan noise
Usually dust-clogged fins and dried thermal paste. Full strip, clean and repaste typically brings temperatures down 15–25°C and the noise with it.
